Why is it so controversial to even mention him?
What's the problem?
I think it's the woolly liberal, modern parent school of thought that thinks if you don't talk about bad things, no one will do any bad things.
Like they think not displaying cigarettes will mean no one will want to smoke, or if no one plays violent games or watches violent games, no one will be violent.
Sure, Hitler did committed some of the most atrocious crimes against humanity ever witnessed in history, but so did a lot of other, very bad people.
Mainly men of course, as men shape the world and indeed, do all the fighting and heavy lifting involved in that.
However, the misguided, liberal fools that say no one should ever talk about him, are indeed just that; misguided fools.
Apart from the fact that with their logic we shouldn't discuss any murderer from history, they overlook a more important fact why we do need to talk about Herr Hitler.
Because to ignore history is to risk repeating it.
Hitler existed, it happened, it is called history.
Deal with it.
