The latest example of this is that now your G.P. is supposed to ask if you are a homosexual.
This is due to the 'equality' brigade, who believe the pathetic and slightly bizarre notion that by knowing who you fancy, your Doctor will be less likely to treat you unfavourably.
As if a Doctor would discriminate against anyone.
Apart from the fact it's intrusive, it is a totally irrelevant question; who you sleep with has nothing to do with the way you are treated by Doctors or the NHS and certainly has nothing to do with the State.
Has no one stopped to think that if a person (and that includes Doctors) didn't know you were queer, then they wouldn't be able to discriminate against you in the first place?
It's not rocket science.
By definition, if you cannot differentiate, then you cannot discriminate.
Therefore, it is precisely by telling someone you're homosexual that you make yourself open to the possibility of any potential discrimination.
