I'll paraphrase: Ooh... We want to buy your goods....we want you to buy ours....we hope you'll let our citizens stay and be nice to them....as yours can.....it wasn't a vote against the E.E.C. or one to try and denigrate it in any way, honest....we'll still help you out with everything we can.... sorry.

And why she and everyone else constantly refers to Europe as 'our friends and colleagues' I don't know.
They couldn't be more awkward if they tried!
They won't budge on anything, they will be vindictive and some idiot even wanted the agreement in French; that's really helpful and of course, how friends often help you out.
Why is everyone so sensitive about everything and scared of upsetting Brussels... they couldn't give a stuff about ignoring us, just they like they ignored May at a meeting a few weeks ago; she looked like a lost lamb surrounded by wolves.
