Driverless, brainless technology.

The next contender for the most farcical, useless 'technology' idea since Twitter, is apparently that lorries are now going to be driven together in a long line, by someone at the front.

But don't worry.
Just like all those other demented ideas, such as supposedly driverless cars and deliveries by 'drones', it won't happen of course. (See blog, Tomorrows world, today 26/3/16).

There are too many impracticalities to list.
However, there is one obvious solution which has eluded the boffins and actually rendered their idea of a train of lorries on the road obsolete, before they even thought of it.
And it is indeed what makes the whole idea look so ridiculous, from the start.

The idea is much like a train.
Which is precisely why we have trains in the first place.
