A real, good old fashioned, traditional English City then.
Quite how she can present such woefully perverse statistics, as a good thing, I don't know.
Anyway, having stated that less than 50% of the population in Leicester were white, i.e. that being a minority, Liz Kendall then appeared and said something about the 'ethnic minorities' living there.
But surely she should have said 'ethnic majorities', or was she referring, indeed quite correctly, to the white people living there which they had already established were in the minority?
In fact, as white people are now also the minority ethnic group in London, it's about time these people started getting their facts straight, that presenters started correcting guests’ mistakes and stopped calling black and Asian people 'minorities', when they are patently not.
