I mean, who remembers Robert Leigh-Pemberton or Edward George up to 1993 and 2003, respectively.
They weren't paraded out at every opportunity, obligingly supporting the Governments' position.
Yet everybody's heard of Mark Kearney.
Well obviously, in reality the position has simply been politicised.
And what better time to have a Bank of England Governor appear to support the Government, than when you are desperate to win a referendum.
A man hired by George Osbourne and paid far more than any other Governor before, has become part of the establishment and does its' will.
It wouldn't be as bad, but he's not even British, let alone English.
It's not about economics; like we've said before, it doesn't matter even if we were worse off out of Europe.
It's about democracy.
Mark Kearney should do the decent thing and shut up.
