Some of the people responsible for the terrorist attack in France last week, may have travelled from Syria and across Europe, as a refugee. Or rather, pretending to be a refugee.
Well I never. Would never have guessed a terrorist wanting to get in to a European country would have thought of that route.
(See blog, Borderless Europe. 14/11/15)
Yet, as the penny starts to drop, the hapless Jean-Claude-Junk (sic) who is apparently the president of the 'European Commission' (yeah right, whatever) says the people were criminals, not asylum seekers and urges European governments to keep open borders.
Err, yeah. Thanks for that.
Talk about state the obvious.
The only other obvious fact he fails to realize is that they (the criminals) may have posed as asylum seekers and come amongst them.
That's the point.
And how exactly do you ensure the security of a country, or indeed Europe, with open borders and thus subsequently, not knowing who is coming in?
There is obviously going to be more attacks, it's just a matter of time.
It's also blindingly obvious that anyone else who travels to, or indeed has already arrived in Europe to commit these acts, will undoubtedly have done so, simply by filing in line with the refugees.
It's not rocket science Mr. Junk.
