The penny might drop soon for the dogma driven, blinker wearing Euro-brigade that, not having any border controls across Europe, is simply barmy.
(See Blog entries, Open borders, again 16/3/16, Jean-Claude-Junk 15/11/15, Borderless Europe 14/11/15.)
Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see it certainly isn't conducive to good security.
Ah, they say, but Britain has border controls.
Well it doesn't take a genius to work out two fatal flaws with that argument and the fundamental problem with being aligned with a European super-state that has no borders.
For a start, all that criminals and terrorists coming in to Europe right now, as 'asylum seekers' through a direct result of the lack of any border control, have to do is to simply live peacefully and lay dormant for a few years,
Until they get their German or European passport from anywhere else in Europe that is.
And then guess what?
Yes, of course.
Then they will have the right to come to Britain unimpeded; that's how and when they're going to get here and cause trouble.
Secondly, as the E.E.C. has apparently opened its border to the whole world, the very fact that they can get in to Europe unchecked at all and that they are indeed there, is also the reason why so many illegal immigrants are found in the back of lorries entering Great Britain; let alone how many are not caught.
Think of all those illegal immigrants in France at Calais which the liberal media are, disingenuously, so fond of portraying, as some kind of 'victims'.
None of them would even be there if there were proper border controls across the whole of Europe; they simply wouldn't be able to cross all those countries.
Anyone who thinks the security of Britain would be jeopardized, in any way shape or form, by leaving the rotting corpse of the E.E.C. is at best deluded and at worst, frankly, retarded.
I should think that anyone who is fully compos mentis would fail to understand how being affiliated to over two dozen countries which have no border security or control, could possibly help our national security interests.
Leaving the E.E.C. can only enhance our position.
And before anyone says we need to be in the E.E.C. to share information to fight crime, don't bother.
We could still share intelligence with any country in Europe, as indeed we do with the rest of the world which we choose to.
We can use Interpol (which existed long before the wretched E.E.C. made any difference), first created as the International Criminal Police Commission in 1923 to get hold of criminals in foreign countries, as well as any other treaties of any nature we may wish to make with, well, anyone.
Our biggest sharing of security information is with American, but we didn't have to become the 51st state in order to do so.
This is your last chance to regain control of your own country.
Don't be frightened by independence.
It's something that lots of people around the world have and are fighting for and would give their right arm for it.
Parts of the commonwealth, incidentally which we turned our back on for Europe, could surely testify how hard it can be if not gained peacefully.
Vote to leave the E.E.C.
