Find me a job which is advertised with separate, let alone lower, rates of pay for men and women.
Don't compare say, a council bin man with a cleaner at the same council, as they are obviously different jobs with different requirements.
Do it like for like and compare apples with apples.
Compare a male and female bin man, or a male and female cleaner at the same council.
Where exactly is the pay difference?
Just because there may be more women in a specific job than there are men, doesn't give licence to make a pay comparison with a completely different occupation, with different skills and requirements which that will entail, simply because it is largely male dominated.
To subsequently deduce the idea that any pay difference is because women are paid less than men, is frankly ludicrous.
An innumerate number and different types of jobs have different remuneration, but where men and women are employed in the same position, they are paid the same.
So where's the pay gap?
Of course, what they really mean is that women tend to earn less than men overall, in their working life.
But that overlooks the fact that, chronologically, women naturally tend to work less than men in their lifetime, as by their own free will, they have babies which can inevitably lead to an abstention from working life.
The subsequent loss of income can indeed (obviously) leave an overall earnings difference between men and women, even when they are in the same job for the entire period.
But that's not a 'pay gap', unequal pay or discrimination.
The same would apply to anyone of working age who decides to withdraw their labour for an extended length of time, for any reason.
It overlooks and ignores the blindingly obvious that there are possibly just as many men that this can equally to, when in comparison with other men
They may well have the same rates of pay, but may simply have worked fewer years; consequently they too will have earned less over a working lifetime.
Any former job a male or female was doing, or other position which may be taken upon a subsequent return to work, will be found to have equal pay.
The only troubling note here is why anyone, other than the P.C. liberal and feminist brigade alike of course, would give it credibility by banging on about it.
There must surely be an element of the 'Emperors' clothing' effect at play here.
The roots and inexorable rise of what, as defined in the foreword on the homepage on this site, can only explain the clamour surrounding this.
Indeed it's possibly the only reason to elucidate, as to why so many people are apparently blindly willing, to support and subsequently clamber aboard the bandwagon.
This is basically whereby the preordained self-censorship by people which is taking place, both through fear and in avoidance of the likely backlash from the equality and 'diversity' Gestapo being the price for daring to disagree, leaves them feeling they have no option than to be seen to agree.
Quite what else would justify why anyone would entertain such a fundamentally flawed supposition which is purported, as fact, with little dissent is both hard to imagine and frankly, beyond all reason.
Note how the liberal media lap it up and ostensibly present de facto, without question.
As cited at the beginning, patent nonsense.
