All of which of course, is both manifestly untrue and patent nonsense.
Sky News continually insist that his rhetoric has inflamed the situation, his 'threats' have not worked and that Kim Jong Jim-Jam has not been deterred by his hard line, they say.
Indeed, apparently the fat kid with the daft haircut (no, not Trump) and his cronies have called President Trumps' supposed bluff of 'fire and fury'.
All of which of course, is palpable nonsense and a complete misrepresentation of what President Trump actually said.
Quite how and why they see Trump as the problem, or indeed for that matter, responsible for the hostile atmosphere is unclear and frankly, bizarre.
The strong stance adopted by President Trump to the open aggression and sheer bullying behaviour by North Korea didn't make the situation worse.
North Korea has been launching missiles, developing nuclear weapons and breaking international law and UN resolutions for many years and nothing Trump said or did, made any difference to that; North Korea was always going to do what it does, regardless.
President Trump certainly didn't make any threats to North Korea either.
What he actually said was North Korea had better not attack Guam, or they would be met with fire and fury.
A statement of the obvious I would have thought and indeed, an eminently sensible position which would be adopted by any Sovereign Country finding itself a possible victim of an unprovoked attack by another nation.
Basically, he said if you hit us, we will hit back. Harder.
That is not a threat; It is a response to a threat and merely a statement of intent, in response to that threat.
And guess what... it worked.
Far from calling any bluff from anyone, North Korea has not dared to launch any missile towards Guam; the defence of which was so vehemently asserted by president Trump.
Therefore, since even the most remote physical threat to Guam has not materialized, America has not had to respond with any military action, let alone 'fire and fury'.
What this is all actually about is the liberal media trying to belittle President Trump, for his damning criticism of their beloved liberal cheer leader, Barack Obama.
He was rightly slated for laying down a so called 'red line' on Syria, in which he said if chemical weapons were used again America would act.
The Syrian Government subsequently then promptly used them and Obama did nothing.
Hence why they are so eager to draw a comparison with Trump; to make him look just as bad, thereby attempting to iron out the creases to the shredded reputation of Obama.
However, there is a crucial, factual difference between the two.
Obama laid down a specific line about the use of chemical weapons which was not to be crossed.
And it subsequently was.
On the other hand, Trump merely laid out what the response to any military attack on American territory by North Korea would be.
And conversely, no attack by North Korea has subsequently materialized.
Now as we know, Obama was a weak, bleeding heart, woolly liberal who did nothing, about anything. (See blog, You just keep making speeches Obama; while Syria burns 13/10/17).
And predictably, he did nothing when Syria crossed his line in the sand and used chemical weapons.
Thankfully for the rest of the free world however, President Trump is not a politically correct, liberal appeaser.
And no one in their right minds thinks for one minute that, unlike useless 'group hug' Obama, Trump wouldn't actually do what he says.
