Their reporter solemnly lamented about how bad things were in ‘the jungle’ and babbled on about their plight.
Following closely on, the no doubt well-meaning but misguided dear in the ‘first aid caravan’, handily explained how they (illegal immigrants) get injured, as they ‘have to’ climb over razor wire in order to 'get on a train'.
Err... well no actually, they don't ‘have to’ do any such thing at all.
They choose to engage in such criminal activity, having illegally entered France.
They simply shouldn’t even be there.
And their criminal attempt to gain access to trains, lorries and the channel tunnel should not be even be allowed to happen; it shouldn't be tolerated, let alone aided and abetted.
How bizarre anyway, as whenever most normal people get on a train they form an orderly queue, buy a ticket and walk along the station platform to board.
Oh and if I haven't got a passport, they can't travel.
Oh and in any other normal country that actually enforces its border, they'd be arrested, as illegal immigrants.
(See blog, Illegal immigrants 26/10/15)
I would like to know how and why anyone thinks for one moment that a load of illegal immigrants erecting a shanty town in their country is acceptable in the first place.
You can only imagine the disgusting state of the surrounding area, no doubt being treated as one big toilet.
Or maybe not, as it will make you vomit.
I can just see a load of people in this country erecting buildings around Dover and getting away with it.
The council would soon be on them; no planning permission, trespass, fly tipping the list goes on.
As for the authorities, the Police would have you arrested in no time.
But of the course our European ‘partners’, as the deluded liberal elite that love Europe see them, otherwise known as the French, let this happen because they know these idiots are trying to get to Britain and have no intention of staying.
And so they ignore them.
Yet for all the intimidation, littering, criminal damage, all caused by illegal immigrants that shouldn’t even be there in the first place and Sky simply reports these idiots as people ‘who have a dream’.
A dream to come to England for a better life.
Well guess what. I have a dream, a dream of a better life for my family and I.
I want to go to Australia.
Unfortunately, nice as that may be, the Australians do actually bother with the tiresome matter of deciding who can enter their country or not; thus I wouldn’t get very far.
I know, I know; how ridiculous and petty is that.
Try getting in an inflatable boat at Skegness with no suitable clothing, let alone any life jackets or other safety equipment; then row yourself out to sea and get in to difficulty, see what happens.
See how much sympathy you'd get.
You would be slaughtered by the Coast Guard upon subsequent rescue.
You would be castigated, as irresponsible and reckless.
There would be uproar.
Woe betide you if anyone on the boat actually died as a result; you’d be up for manslaughter.
Yet apparently, all these idiots on the beaches of the Mediterranean just climb in to whatever they can get their hands on, set sail and no one bats an eyelid.
They’re then simply portrayed by the liberal media, as ‘migrants’ wanting a new life and everyone says we should be spending millions rescuing them.
Meanwhile in Britain if there’s so much as a cloud in the sky, the authorities advise you not to even walk near the sea front.
They say you’re putting other lives at risk if you need rescuing and complain incessantly about the cost of the emergency services; practically begging you not to call them.
These illegal immigrants need to take responsibility for their own actions; if you’re going to get in a four man inflatable boat with your kids and another 20 people, with insufficient fuel, with no lights, no communication or any other form of life saving equipment then you’re asking for trouble.
Now that’s what I call irresponsible and reckless.
