Doubtless, the irony that we haven’t even actually got any borders never occurred to the people who thought of the name.
Even if they had more staff and more patrol vessels for British coastal waters, it wouldn't make a bean of difference; they're useless and are in fact, just for show.
That is because all they do if they actually intercept any boat which is illegally entering British waters with illegal immigrants on board is to 'rescue' them and welcome them in to Britain, for their subsequent 'asylum' claim.
They're no more than a taxi service.
We've said it before (see Blog, Illegal Immigrants 26/10/15) and we'll say it again; we don't know why the Government and indeed people, find it so hard to deal with illegal immigrants.
In the same way that Canada, America, Australia and many other countries with an ounce of common sense do with anyone entering the country illegally, you simply arrest the people concerned and send them packing.
No if's, no but's, bye.
And as for vessels in British territorial waters, that's even easier.
There's something called the Royal Navy and I think you'll find it's their job to maintain the integrity of British territorial waters.
They simply need to intercept any unidentified vessel, find out what they're up to and turn them away.
Deny access, enforce the boundary of territorial waters, full stop.
And if that means with force, fine.
How easy is that?
If these idiots ended up back on the shore where they came from again and again, they'd soon get the message.
Of course, you'll find that in reality the only reason they daren’t actually do that, is the ludicrous 'Human Rights' Act they've all signed up to which means we have to accept any claim for 'asylum', from anybody that enters the country.
And of course they can't get rid of that, because they're in the E.E.C.
Hence why they simply shouldn’t be allowed in to British waters.
The fact they're fleeing from France, presumably having passed through numerous other civilized European countries to get there, is even more ridiculous.
The last time I checked, France appeared to be a 'safe' country, was not on a 'human rights' watch list and didn't appear to pose any threat to their lives, or indeed place them in any imminent danger whatsoever.
Given that we're constantly told by the wealthy liberal elite (who would have you believe they are all Doctors and nurses coming to 'help' Britain) that these people are desperate and fleeing persecution, it seems to be a fact which has escaped these fools.
The other fact that escapes these liberal do-gooders (which of course anyone with a even a partly functioning brain knows) is that with the open borders into Europe, the flow of people from around the world who want to live in Britain, simply because of access to free health care and our social security system, is endless.
